Spain, a heavily traveled country is most known for the bull fights and running of the bulls that take place in Barcelona- known as Spain’s 2nd capital. Spain’s very popular capital is Madrid, but there are many other cities that are each outstanding in their own way. A few of them, which are most traveled are Barcelona, Leon, Seville, Valencia, San Sebastian, Granada, and Cordoba. The population in Spain, recorded as of January 2006 was over 44.7 million residents. A few of the most known attributes of Spain are the Grand Mosque, which has been noted as one of the worlds finest buildings; great Spanish wines; and the phenomenal Tapas, which are like starters or appetizers in the U.S. Located in the Western part of Europe, Spain’s temperatures vary throughout the country, with snow on the mountains and beautiful warm beaches on the coasts. With the diverse weather, great nightlife, historic cities, and unique cultures; Spain is truly an amazing, one of a kind Country. In Spain, just like most of the European countries, the monetary exchange unit used is the Euro. The most spoken language is Spanish, but most everybody in Spain is taught English in school as well.
