Monaco is located in Southern Europe near France and Italy. Monaco is the 2nd smallest independent state in the world and is almost entirely urban. Principality has become a resort for tourists and a tax haven for businesses. The capital of Monaco is Monaco. The currency used is the Euro. The population as of July 2007 was just over 32,000. Monaco is by far the most densely populated independent country in the world. The climate in Monaco is Mediterranean with mild wet winters and hot dry summers. Ville, which is also the Prince’s palace, is a world-renowned oceanographic museum and aquarium on avenue Saint Martin with over 4000 different fish and over 200 families of invertebrates. The grand casino is home of the worlds richest and often most famous gambling spot. The languages spoken in Monaco are French, Italian, Monegasque, and English. There are many extreme high-end restaurants in Monaco the two most expensive being Louis XV and the Le Grill De L’Hotel de Paris. Both of these restaurants are known to be out-of-this-world and spectacular. Monaco is known to be a very safe and crime free Country.
