However, the people are very friendly and have a positive outlook on life, welcoming visitors with open arms! Dhaka is the capital and largest city. Nicknamed the City of Mosques, the most visited attractions here are the many attractive mosques, especially the Star Mosque and the Seven Domed Mosque. Other popular attractions include the historic Lalbagh Fort and numerous museums. Nearby is the Bhawal National Park, while in the south on the coast is the Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with scenic mangrove jungles and the Royal Bengal Tiger. A popular beach resort with the locals is Cox’s Bazar, while Inani Beach is the world’s longest and widest beach!
