Most visited destinations in Brunei include the capital and largest city, Bandar Seri Begawan, where popular attractions include the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and the Royal Regalia Museum. A short distance from here is one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions, the water village, called Kampong Ayer, where houses are on stilts in the water. Separated by Malaysia and a stretch of water is the Temburong District. Travelers will find the 45 minute speed boat ride to here is lots of fun, and popular attractions include the rainforests in destinations like the Ulu Temburong National Park and the Betu Apoi Forest Reserve. The near equatorial location of Brunei gives travelers warm weather throughout the year.
