DESCRIPTION
Music provides the rhythm of life in Vienna, Austria. Strauss was born in the city, Mozart’s last three symphonies were composed here, Beethoven lived here and Viennese waltz shares its name. There are two world-renowned symphonies here and a talented boy’s choir that perform at the Vienna opera house. There’s also the Vienna Summer of Music festival that’s held here each summer in July and August. For the tone-deaf, there are many other things to enjoy in the city, such as St. Stephan’s Cathedral with it’s gothic façade and great views of the city – if you’re willing to climb the 500 stairs to get it. The Kunst Historisches is the country’s premiere art museum, its architecture alone is an art piece.
