Nova Scotia, one of the Atlantic Provinces in Canada has major cities such as Sydney, Hubley, Pictou, Windsor, Yarmouth, and New Glasgrow. Unless you love cold surf or like to snowshoe, it's strongly advised to visit Nova Scotia some time between June and October in order to avoid the cold and more importantly soak up the clear blue skies and warm sun. Incredible bike tours, walking tours and tidal wave rafting are all known to be fun things to do while in Nova Scotia. The most popular dish, Donair, is a pile of roasted spiced beef, served with tomatoes and onions, covered in a sweet white sauce and wrapped in a delicious pita. Nova Scotia is also known for it’s terrific beers such as Alexader Keith’s India Pale Ale (known locally as Keith’s) and the Propeller. Many people are pleasantly surprised when visiting Nova Scotia to find such good wines produced locally; wile many of the wineries offer free tours, such as Jost Winery along the Northumberland Strait north of Truro.
