DESCRIPTION
Connecticut may be one of the smallest
of the United States but it has a lot to offer travelers, especially
those interested in American history. The population is just over 3.5
million but being such a small state, the population density is the
4th highest in the USA, however, Connecticut is still able
to offer open spaces and scenic areas too. Historical attractions are the mainstay
of the most popular attractions in Connecticut. The capital city, Hartford,
has one of the USA’s oldest state capitol buildings plus the Mark
Twain House and Museum where this famous author lived. New Haven is
best known as being the home of Yale University and is a popular destination
with travelers. With its coastal location, Connecticut, which is situated
in the north east of the USA also offers beaches and islands, great
for relaxing, plus scenic state parks and forests. This may be a small
state but it has a varied climate – summers are usually warm and fall
is a great time for travelers to visit to see the fall colors.
