DESCRIPTION
Sydney is the feather in the cap for Australia. It’s flashy, it’s fun and it’s a fantastic place for a tourist to visit. There are two landmark attractions for this city down under, the most noticeable being the Sydney Opera House. The building’s sails sparkle in the sunlight and reflect in the water, and it almost seems to float right on the harbor. A tour inside is well worth the effort, and if you plan in advance, you could catch a performance here. The Sydney Harbor Bridge also dominates the harbor-front skyline, and it not only serves cars and pedestrians across it, the bridge offers visitors the chance to walk OVER it. You’ll go through some safety training, and then you’ll strap in and head out. Sunset times are the most spectacular, but also the most popular. A boat tour is a great way to get a look at the entire skyline as it meets the harbor. The Sydney Zoo uses that skyline as a backdrop –
the giraffes get to look at its beauty all day long, while the tourists are looking at them. Infamous Bondi Beach is just outside Sydney proper, and makes for a nice city-break.
