DESCRIPTION
St. Anton is a tourist destination in Austria’s Arlberg area that caters to skiers. The expert skiers are quite fond of the runs here, as there are a lot of off-trail options and a lot of reliable snow during the winter months. That doesn’t mean that beginner and intermediate skiers should avoid St. Anton, just the opposite. There are a few ski instruction schools available to get you past the snowplow stage, and one of the most popular intermediate trails is at the Valluga summit – it’s also the longest. There are lots of natural obstacles and drops to also thrill the snowboarding set. After a long day on the slopes, the après ski life gets in gear, and there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from.
