DESCRIPTION
Torremolinos, Spain started its life as a small fishing village, but once the tourists caught word of the wonderful beaches and the warm sunshine, it became one of the hottest resort towns on the Costa del Sol. The city features attractions for all, including an active gay culture. There are water sports along the beach, or water rides at the nearby water park. The summer months are when the crowds hit to take advantage of the warmest weather, but the weather is nice all the time, which brings visitors year-round. September may be one of the best times to come to Torremolinos, as that’s when the city hosts the Romeria de San Miguel Festival.
