DESCRIPTION
Val d Isere, France is one of the premier European ski resorts, witnessed by the fact that three Olympic medal winners were born here. There is limited skiing all year, but the best snow and the most runs can be found from November to April. The facilities here are top-of-the-line, with an abundance of gondolas to get the skiers to the top. From there, they can ski down over 140, high-altitude runs, with off-trail skiing for the experts. The beginners among us can hire some of the best instructors available to get you past the snowplow stage. After the day’s skiing, Val d Isere’s clubs and restaurants play host to the party.
