Tampa, Florida is known for its beautiful beaches, and tourists come here for sun and surf, as well as theme parks and museums. Busch Gardens provides the thrills and spills you’d expect from a Florida theme park with its coasters and other rides, but it also presents shows and provides food (and beer, of course) for visitors. Tampa’s zoo is a great place to get an up-close look at the loveable sea cows that are the manatees, and it also has an aquarium with the more dangerous marine creatures, sharks and rays. There is a concentration of Cuban culture in Tampa, and the Cuban quarter is called Ybor City. Here you can partake of a nice Cuban sandwich and smoke a cigar while you visit the shops. The city’s Pirate Festival takes place in January, so if you visit then, you might want to watch your booty!
