France, which is the number one country in the world for travel, had over 78 million tourists in 2006 alone. France’s very well known capital is Paris; however, there are numerous other cities that are extremely popular as well. A few of them most traveled are: Bordeaux, Bourges, Cannes, Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Strasbourg, and Nantes. The population recorded as of April 2007 in France was just over 61 million. A few of the most known tourist attractions in France are The Eiffel Tower, The French Riviera, and of course the great wine scattered throughout. Located in the Western part of Europe, France’s temperatures vary throughout the country but the overall climate is considered temperate. In France, just as in most of Europe, the monetary exchange unit is the Euro. The most spoken language in France is French, although most everybody in France speaks English fluently.

Review: France was alright. It would have been better if I had not gotten the flu while I was only there for 5 days. VERY tourist congested (although most big European cities are). Don't make the trip without seeing Normandy.
