Germany’s very well known capital is Berlin, while there are numerous other cities that are heavily populated as well. A few of the cities which are most traveled are Munich, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bremen, and Hanover. The population of Germany, recorded as of July 2007 was just over 82 million. A few of the most popular attributes in Germany are the Oktoberfest, which is a huge beer festival; the fact that almost every high end luxury car in the world such as Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, and BMW all have their factories in Germany; and finally the biggest wine festival in the world is held in Duerkheim on the German wine route, which has over 600,000 visitors each year. Located in the Central part of Europe, temperatures vary throughout the country and year; but Germany gets rather warm summertime and gets very cold during the winter in certain regions. In Germany, just like many of the European countries, the monetary exchange unit used as money is the Euro. The most spoken language in Germany is German, but most everybody speaks English, since it is taught to all children in school.
