DESCRIPTION

Italy is without a doubt known for its amazing Italian Food. Italy’s very well known capital is Rome; however, there are numerous other cities that are heavily populated, and visited by tons of tourists each year. A few of the cities most traveled are Bologna, Florence, Milan, Naples, Pisa, Venice, Turin, and the famous Islands of Sicily, Sardinia, Capri, and Aeolian. While the food is amazing, Italy has a magnitude of attributes worth noting such as luxury sports cars, great fashion, and beautiful geography that consists of scenic coasts and the gorgeous mountainous regions of the Alps and Apennines. Italy also has one of the largest collections of museums in the world including a huge Egyptian Museum, Science and Technology Museum, and an automobile museum that has 170 cars covering the entire automobile history. The population recorded as of July 2006 was just over 58 million. Located in the southern part of Europe known as the Mediterranean region, Italy has hot-dry summers and gets especially hot in July. The Northern part of Italy gets rather cold during the winter compared to the mild winters in the south. In Italy, just like most of the European countries the monetary exchange unit used is the Euro. The most spoken language in Italy is Italian, but most everybody in the heavily traveled areas of Italy, speak English fluently.
