Croatia is a country that was once war-torn and downtrodden, but it has emerged from the rubble to become one of the most popular destinations in Europe. The city of Dubrovnik is a coastal Croatian town on the Adriatic Sea, and is now one of the most fashionable resorts to visit. The internal conflict drove people away from these shores, but now tourists are flocking back – mostly to see the mostly unspoiled beaches and Old Town section of the city.
